My final blog post... :[

1. In general, what did you like most about this class?
-In this class, I mostly enjoyed critiquing the projects.  It was a fun and helpful experience to see what others in the class have made, as well as going over it in depth and breaking it down piece by piece.  Everyone had something to say, and the comments made during the critiques were very funny, and added a huge sense of enjoyment.  Oh, did I mention bagels?
2. What was your favorite project and why?
-My favorite project was the independent study project.  I did enjoy most of the projects that we did, but the independent film gave me a shot at doing a music video- something I had wanted to do since this class started.
3. In general, what did you like least about this class?
-The thing I liked the least about this class was the amount of prep-work.  I'm not saying this to excuse myself from never doing storyboards or scripts, I just didn't like to do them.  Work was not the issue- I've noticed over the year that most things I do are better when they just come naturally as I'm shooting.  If you storyboard something, it defines a more rigorous line for the plot, which I think puts limits on creativity.

4. What was your least favorite project and why?
-My least favorite project was the water PSA.  I just think it was a dead project- I didn't see much point in doing it, to be honest.  Mine was god awful, I don't know where I could've shot the kinds of footage I needed, and I totally destroyed it upon editing.

5. What are your future plans upon graduation?
-I'm planning on taking off for a semester or two, and powering down at work.  I'm going to be going in to NCCC in Winter or Spring.  I'll stay there for two years, and then I plan on going to finish a Bachelor's Degree at Buffalo State College.

6. Do you feel that this class will help you achieve your future academic or career goals? Please give specific examples.
-I believe it will help my future.  It's made me quite a bit more independent on finishing things myself.  I also believe I've even become more organized.  Another thing that I'll have to do for the rest of my life is in this class- MEETING DEADLINES.  God, we've had a ton of practice with that.

7. What advice would you give to incoming students?
-This class will be SO MUCH FUN! But with that comes a lot of work and responsibility.  This is a class for serious students, and you better be ready to work.  With work comes reward, and you'll be able to step in the door and feel the reward on Day 1.

8. Additional comments:
-I'm really gonna miss coming out here.  I'm gonna come in and hangout with whoever is here after my exams.  I've made a TONNNNNNN of friends over the course of the year, and done some things I never thought I'd do- took 2nd place at Regionals with Serena, Went to states, made tons of friends from all over New York, and ate twice my weight in Bagels.  It's been such a fun class Ms. Licata- you're an awesome and inspiring teacher. :]

Captured Performance.

So when you watch the movie Avatar, you'll think it was animated with voice-overs.
Not true.

The making of Avatar.

Look at 3:20 and they'll show how you it was the actual actors and actresses, then put into the form you see in the movie.

Life has officially caught up with me.

My senior prom is tomorrow.

Four whole years... where did they go?

Weekly Comments.

Something I liked about this week;  My band set up our next show; we're playing The Red October's CD release show. :]

Something I disliked; COMMUNITY. SERVICE. SUCKS.

Something I learned; There's a crazy old man in NT who calls himself "Chicago" and thinks he's a celebrity.  And I have to deal with him every day at the Salvation Army while doing my hours this week. xP

Something I wanna learn;  I'm actually pretty content with my knowledge right now.  If I could learn one more thing, I'd wanna learn how to do the cameras in Motion.

By far the greatest music video I've ever seen.

Ok, Go. Rube Goldberg.

There's no words.
